Distributor Sales (Distribution)

SUMMARY:  Sells and services new and existing accounts, maintaining and increasing the level of sales and profit margins.  Develops new business while achieving exceptional customer service.



  • Expedites customer orders by calling customer, obtaining order and transmitting order by specified time
  • Provides customer information including the status of orders, product specifications, pricing and other sales related details
  • Increases sales to current customers; opens and reactivates accounts for perspective and past customers
  • Handles prospecting for customers and qualifying prospects
  • Completes new customer paperwork to include, but not limited to, application and credit references
  • Required to complete daily calling sequence, calling on customers by the specified date and time, prior to cut-off time; plus makes arrangements for special routes and holiday schedules
  • Maintains customer bids and contacts, quotes prices and maintains up to date prices and bids
  • Contacts current and prospective customers to sell, explain and promotes Diaz Foods private labels and brands, as well as exclusive Diaz Foods product lines
  • Must meet or exceed quotas for sales and profit
  • Fills in for other Sales Representatives who are out of the office as required
  • Maximizes profits


  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Computer skills
  • Strong sales experience
